How To Eat Jamaican Food in L.A. Every Day of the Week

jamaican food in la

Since we started our L.A. catering business in 2018 we have served all kinds of customers, but no matter who they are or how much they’re spending, they normally fall into one of these three categories:

  1. Never had Jamaican food before and excited to try
  2. Have eaten Jamaican food before and glad to know it’s available here in Los Angeles
  3. Know a bit about Jamaican food but think it is only to be eaten on special occasions

However you found out about us or have decided to make an order we appreciate your business and love to know you’re eager to try something different, but, we do have a bone to pick (lol, saw that) with that 3rd customer category.

Jamaican food like any other cuisine can be eaten 7 days per week, 3 times per day. However, due to the exotic and exclusive nature of our cuisine it is commonly misconstrued as something to be eaten on special occasions or every once in a while, not for everyday consumption.

Check out these Jamaican dishes you’ve probably never eaten before…

We are aware that many people know of Jamaican food but are not fully verse on what it entails, the specific ingredients used and how it can be eaten.

So today, we give you a 7 day meal breakdown of our menu so you can enjoy Jamaican food in L.A. any day of the week whether you’re a meat eater or vegan.

Also, you may have noticed that every meal was paired with a side of Fried Plantains. Plantains are a popular side treat in Jamaica and goes well with almost any meal, plus it sweet, which when eaten with the other spicy, flavorful items gives you an amazing gastronomic experience when all those taste buds come alive.

You can also feel free to mix and match meals between the days and reach out to us if you have any questions or need help.

Now you can enjoy Jamaican food in L.A. every day of the week, just like you do for Tacos and poke bowls, but this is far better ;).
